The Career Technical Education provided at the Somersworth Career Technical Center provides students an opportunity to develop the skills needed to be college and career ready. Our CTC programs provide the technical, academic and employability skills needed for success after high school. Our student's learning takes place in a lab setting - allowing them to experience learning through real-world examples and collaborative team work; while also learning rigorous academic skills. CTC programming is both rigorous and relevant for our students; having to demonstrate numerous course competencies and career readiness skills. Through thoughtful course planning as a student transitions to high school- CTE programs can be an important part of all our students high school experience.
